Why he might be annoying:

His name is similar to decathlete Dave Johnson.
He was the final out of the 1969 World Series as the Orioles lost to the Mets.
He feuded with two team owners, Marge Schott in Cincinnati and Peter Angelos in Baltimore.
He had a feud with Bobby Bonilla.
The Dodgers fired him as manager after the team failed to make the playoffs.
