Why he might be annoying:

He is considered to be one of the most incompetent monarchs England ever had.
He relied on certain favorite advisors who gave him bad advice.
He and his personal favorites clashed with England's powerful nobility.
He tried ruling as an absolute monarch without Parliament.
He imposed heavy and illegal taxes.
He was deposed by one of his cousins, who was then crowned King Henry IV of the House of Lancaster.
He was imprisoned and later murdered.

Why he might not be annoying:

He became king at ten.
He invented the handkerchief.
He has been called 'the first casualty in the Wars of the Roses.'
