Outlaw

The Resume

    (1999- )
    Resident of Redondo Beach, California
    Self-identified bisexual aspiring rapper
Tackled Dave Chappelle onstage during a comedy routine at the Hollywood Bowl
Detained and charged with assault with a deadly weapon (May 4, 2022)
Video of incident received over 5 million views on YouTube
Covered on TMZ, Entertainment Tonight, Daily Mail and Sky News

Why he might be annoying:

His neighbors described him as hot-tempered, argument-prone, and violent.
He pummeled Dave Chappelle onstage during a 'Netflix is a Joke' show for (arguably) no good reason and it went viral.
He was found to have been armed with a replica handgun containing a knife blade.
He was reportedly obsessed with Chappelle, even penning a rap song about him.
He claimed that he had been inspired by Will Smith's slapping Chris Rock at the Academy Awards, lending credence to the argument that Smith's action had made comedians into targets.
He attacked Chappelle just as he was wrapping up a routine in which he talked about how comedians have to worry more about their personal security in the wake of 'the slap.'
The publicity surrounding the attack led him to be charged with attempted murder for stabbing his roommate during a fight at a transitional housing apartment on December 2, 2021.
The fallout led Dave Chappelle to later jokingly claim that Jamie Foxx, Busta Rhymes and Jon Stewart all participated in beating him up, leading a publicist to clarify that this wasn't the case (all with the exception of Foxx, who apparently really was involved).
He explained his actions saying: 'I wanted him to know that next time, he should consider first running his material by people it could affect' (how about also running by people the idea of charging a crazy rich celebrity onstage in front of security guards and cameras...?)
If the attack was meant to harm Chappelle's career, it failed; because his four-night stint at the Hollywood Bowl tied with Monty Python for the most headlined shows by a comedian at the venue.

Why he might not be annoying:

Judging by available footage of the incident, he'd have made a helluva linebacker.
He received a black eye and a broken arm and was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation after the attack.
Dave Chappelle continued to crack jokes after the attack like a boss.
Chappelle claimed that he told him the attack was all about getting attention for his grandmother, who had been forced out of her neighborhood due to gentrification.
To which Lee claimed Chappelle responded, 'Now your story will die with you, son' (harsh).
His stunt gave Chris Rock - who was also present - another chance to drag Will Smith for filth (after he was forced off the stage, Rock grabbed the mic, went up to Chapelle and asked him, 'Was that Will Smith?!').
He claimed he doesn’t regret what happened because it allowed him the opportunity to speak out about homelessness, LGBTQ+ rights, child sex abuse, and trigger warnings for comedy.
Given some of Chappelle's jokes about Transgenderism, its reasonable to assume he was applauded by some members of the LGBTQ community.
