Why she might be annoying:

She owns her own music publishing company to publish only her songs.
She writes songs in a room of her music publishing business, which has not been cleaned for 17 years because she is superstitious.
She calls this room her 'secret world.'
If she conjures up a good song in her mind in a place where she's unable to record it, she calls her answering machine and sings the song onto it.
She continuously received D's and F's in grade school.
While growing up, she was more fascinated by the songwriter of a song than the artist that sang it.
She admits she has never been head-over-heels in love, but calls music the love of her life.
Her best friend is a parrot named Butt Wings.

Why she might not be annoying:

She wrote more than Ninety Billboard top 10 hits.
Thirty-eight of her songs reached #1.
She began writing songs at fourteen.
She is the only female writer in history to be named ASCAP's Writer of the Year three times.
She was the first songwriter in the history of Billboard to have seven hits on the singles chart at the same time.
Her songs have appeared in more than 50 major motion pictures.
Her songs have been nominated for four Golden Globes, six Academy Awards and nine Grammy's.
She is honored more by seeing people in record stores buy her singles than receiving awards.
