Script writer for the TV series 'The Red Skelton Show,' 'I Married Joan' and 'My Favorite Martian'
Portrayed himself in an episode of the TV series 'Roseanne' - Sherwood Schwartz, A Loving Tribute (May 1995)
Executive producer of the reality TV series 'The Real Gilligan's Island' (2004-05)

Why he might be annoying:

All TV series he created not named 'Gilligan's Island' or 'The Brady Bunch' were dismal ratings failures.
He cast his daughter in four episodes of 'The Brady Bunch,' as three different girls.
Barry Williams detailed in a tell-all 'Brady Bunch' book how Schwartz and 'Brady' father Robert Reed got into heated arguments over script content and quality.
He's milked both series to death by way of TV sequels; i.e. - 'The Harlem Globetrotters on Gilligan's Island' and 'A Very Brady Christmas.'

Why he might not be annoying:

He's been married to the same woman since 1941.
He won an Emmy in 1961 for 'Outstanding Writing Achievement in Comedy' for his work on 'The Red Skelton Show.
He produced two Brady Bunch movies in the '90s, both doing exceptionally well at the box office.
TV Guide listed 'Gilligan's Island' as the #1 all time theme song for a TV show, with 'The Brady Bunch' at #7.
He visited sick kids in children's hospitals with cast members Alan Hale, Jr. (Skipper) and Florence Henderson (Mom Brady).
