    Drafted 2nd overall by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in the 2002 Major League Baseball Draft
    Outfielder for the Tampa Bay Rays (2004-12), Atlanta Braves (2013-14), San Diego Padres (2015-16) and the Toronto Blue Jays (2016)

    He went by B. J., which stood for 'Bossman Junior'.
    He was often criticized in Tampa for his lack of hustle and work ethic.
    He often showboats after hitting home runs.
    He was often benched for making mental mistakes during his tenure with the Rays.
    He got into a notorious dugout confrontation with Evan Longoria, which saw a teammate pull him by his belt in order to separate the two.

    He was a shortstop, prior to being converted to an outfielder.
    He is the first player in Rays history to hit for the cycle (2009).
