Why he might be annoying:

    His nickname was 'Tiny', despite the fact he was 5'10".
    Despite his status as a Bruins legend, his number has yet (as of 2020) to be retired by the franchise.
    He was traded to the Red Wings after ten years with the Bruins, who felt he was too old to play for the team.
    He posted a 32–41–12 record over two seasons with the Red Wings, which played a factor in his decision to retire.
    He was overshadowed by his fellow contemporaries George Hainsworth and Charlie Gardiner during his prime years.

    He was one of the first goaltenders to incorporate the hand catching method.
    He was the first goaltender inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame to record a shutout in his debut game.
    He guided the Bruins to a Stanley Cup championship in his rookie season (1929).
    He was the first goaltender in NHL history to record an assist on a scoring play.
    He became a goaltender as a teenager as a way to get playing time, in which he excelled at.
