Drafted second overall by the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft
Defenseman for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (1995-96, 1999-02), Winnipeg Jets/Phoenix Coyotes (1996-99), New Jersey Devils (2002-03), Carolina Hurricanes (2005-06) and the Los Angeles Kings (2006-07)
Also played for Avangard Omsk (2003-05), Salavat Yulaev Ufa (2007-12) and Metallurg Magnitogorsk (2012-13)

Why he might be annoying:

He admitted he suffered from homesickness when he left for Russia at the age of 16 to further his hockey career.
Despite being associated for his work with the Mighty Ducks, he finished his NHL career with the arch-rival Kings.
He is best remembered as being the main player acquired by Winnipeg in the Teemu Selänne trade.
He nixed a proposed trade to the Montreal Canadiens, that would have seen Patrice Brisebois go to New Jersey (2003).
