Why they might be annoying:

    Their official Web site does not mention their history, probably because they don't have such a glorious history.
    They've won the fewest Grey Cups of any non-expansion team.
    They only scored 1 point in the 1967 Grey Cup Game (they lost 24-1, to Hamilton).
    They didn't host the Grey Cup Game until 1995.
    There was once another CFL team with a similar nickname, the Ottawa Rough Riders.
    Their uniforms make them look kind of like the New York Jets, but Chris Berman of ESPN says they look like the Seattle Seahawks.

Why they might not be annoying:

    Though they play in the CFL's smallest market, they are one of the most popular teams in the league.
    Some of their home games have registered an attendance twice as large as their stadium's listed capacity.
    They kicked a last-second field goal to defeat Hamilton 43-40 and win the 1989 Grey Cup, in the highest-scoring Grey Cup Game in history.
    They are the only surviving 'Roughriders' team in the league.
