Drafted 54th overall by the New Jersey Devils in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft
Forward for the New Jersey Devils (1990-93), Edmonton Oilers (1993-96), New York Rangers (2001) and the Tampa Bay Lightning (2001-02)
Also played for ASVŠ Dukla Trenčín (1986-90), HC Dukla Trenčín (1994-95) and HC Slovan Bratislava (1996-2001; 2002-07)

Why he might be annoying:

He wore an oversized helmet during his stint with the Devils.
He left the NHL in 1996 and didn't return to the league until 2001.
He couldn't adapt to playing the strict defensive style the Devils employed, which played a factor in his trade to Edmonton.
He struggled to adapt to the style of play of the NHL, when he returned to the league after a six year absence.
His tenure with the Lightning ended after he walked away from the team, after suffering an anxiety attack on the bench.

He defected from the communist regime in Czechoslovakia to play in the NHL.
He became a full-time player following his trade to the Oilers.
He recorded a career high 70 points during his final season with the Oilers (1995-96).
He played for the Slovak national team in the years following the dissolution of Czechoslovakia.
He ended his career a champion as he was a member of the HC Slovan Bratislava team that won the Slovak Extraliga title (2007).
