U.S. Congressman

The Resume

    (February 21, 1964- )
    Born in Des Moines, Iowa
    Physician
Elected to represent Tennessee's 4th District in Congress (November 2, 2010)
    Republican
    Last name pronounced day-jar-lay

Why he might be annoying:

Although he proclaimed himself 'a consistent supporter of pro-life values,' he counseled his future wife to have two abortions before their marriage.
His first wife accused him of 'violent and threatening behavior,' ranging from shoving her to 'dry firing' a gun outside her locked bedroom door.
During divorce proceedings, he admitted to affairs with three co-workers, a drug company rep, and two patients.
He was taped telling one patient/mistress, 'You told me you'd have an abortion, and now we're getting too far along without one. If we need to go to Atlanta, or whatever, to get this solved and get it over with so we can get on with our lives, then let's do it.'
He prescribed drugs to one of the women he was sleeping with.

Why he might not be annoying:

He explained that he taped the conversation with his mistress as part of his attempt to reconcile with his first wife. (Because nothing shows your wife how serious you are about your marriage than letting her listen to you pressure your mistress into an abortion.)
During his 2012 re-election, his second wife defended him, noting he had not cheated on her.
He campaigned in favor of eliminating wasteful spending, ending corporate bailouts and establishing Congressional term limits.
