Artist

The Resume

    (March 4, 1962- )
    Born in London, United Kingdom
    British comic book artist
Most well known for his work with the 2000 AD comic book
Has also worked with DC Comics, Full Circle Publications and Heavy Metal magazine
Has drawn many covers for fantasy books and has his own line of calendars

Why he might be annoying:

He is a serious space cadet. He cites Frank Frazetta as his hero but missed a chance to meet him when he (Bisley) fell down a flight of stairs and broke a rib due to being hungover.
He can't remember when he first broke into comics (it was the early nineties).
He can't remember the names of co-workers or of other artists he likes.

Why he might not be annoying:

He's never had an art lesson in his life.
A Robert E. Howard purist, he disliked Arnold Schwarzenegger as Conan the Barbarian.
He calls art critics 'dodgy bastards' who 'don't know good stuck up their backsides.'
His work is almost a perfect example of modern fantasy art and virtually defines the look of Heavy Metal magazine.
