Terrorist

The Resume

    (October 1976-February 3, 2022)
    Born in Iraq
Birth name was Amir Muhammad Sa'id Abdal-Rahman Al-Mawla
Succeeded Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi as second caliph of the Islamic State (October 31, 2019)
Named a Specially Designated Global Terrorist by the US State Department (March 24, 2020)
Died during a counter-terrorism raid by US Joint Special Operations Command in Idlib Province in Syria

Why he might be annoying:

There is uncertainty about the location and exact date of his birth.
He was a member of Saddam Hussein’s Baathist army, then joined al-Qaeda, and ended up in ISIS/ISIL -- a triple crown of Middle-East anti-Americanism.
He was one of the main architects of the ISIL massacre of Yazidis in the Sinjar district of Iraq (August 2014).
The terrorists who launched an attack along the border between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan that killed 17 people pledged their allegiance to him (November 7, 2019).
He was mistakenly reported captured by the Iraqi intelligence service (May 20, 2020).
At the start of the counter-terrorism raid, he detonated a bomb that killed himself and twelve members of his family, including women and children.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was arrested during the American invasion of Iraq and served as an informant for the US military.
He was of Turkmen origin, which made him one of the few non-Arabs in a leadership position in ISIL.
The US Department of State had offered up to $10 million for information leading to his capture.
