Hockey Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He played on six different NHL teams.
His status of being the first goaltender selected first overall in the NHL Draft was discredited by hockey pundits for years.
His distinction didn’t become public knowledge until Rick DiPietro was drafted first overall in 2000.
His tenure with the Blues lasted a single game.
He spent the majority of his NHL career playing on teams with a horrendous defensive unit in front of him.

Why he might not be annoying:

He kept his distinction of being the first goaltender selected with the first overall pick at the NHL Draft, after it was revealed DiPietro held the distinction of being the first in the post-expansion era (second overall).
He was the first goalie in professional ice hockey history to score a goal (February 21, 1971).
He was a member of the inaugural Scouts roster.
He was considered a hockey legend in Kansas City, playing for both the minor league Blues and the Scouts.
He earned a Stanley Cup ring with the Canadiens as Ken Dryden’s backup (1973).
