Why he might be annoying:

    In 1999, while he was with the Miami Dolphins, he was traded to the Chicago Bears.
    He created minor controversy when he expressed his opinion in favor of gay marriage.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He has advocated for the legalization of gay marriage.
    When he spoke out in favor of gay marriage, Maryland state representative Emmet Burns wrote a letter to the owner of the Baltimore Ravens demanding that he ‘inhibit such expressions from your employee.’
    In 2004, he made a play which resulted in one of the biggest upset comebacks in Monday Night Football history, when he inctercepted a ball thrown by Tom Brady.
    He takes pride in his Nigerian heritage.
