Why she might be annoying:

She divorced four times.
She was known more for her beauty rather than her talent.
She was friends with author Jacqueline Susann. Susann molded the character of Jennifer after her, in her novel 'Valley of the Dolls' (1964).
She was an ardent feminism with many sexual exploits. This resulted in Fox cancelling her contract.
As her fifth marriage was falling apart, she was probably having had an affair with Rex Harrison. It was Harrison who discovered her body after she committed suicide. She committed suicide by overdosing on sleeping pills.
It was rumored she had an affair with producer Daryl F. Zanuck.

Why she might not be annoying:

When she and her high school classmates attempted to form a girl's football team she was attacked for being 'un-ladylike.'
She was dissatisfied with her nickname 'Ping Girl' (apparently short for purring) given to her by Hal Roach and publicist Frank Seltzer.
She enjoyed photography, even developing her own photos.
