Why he might be annoying:

    He is injury prone.
    He enjoys playing golf.
    He missed the majority of the 2008 season after suffering a concussion after colliding with then-teammate David Eckstein.
    Due to playing in the AL East, he is overshadowed by both Dustin Pedroia and Robinson Cano.
    He balked at the offer the Angels gave him after his selection, and elected to re-enter the baseball draft the following season.

    He lost his mother in an auto accident at the age of 15.
    While at Louisiana State University, he was considered a highly touted prospect.
    He earned MVP honors at the Futures Game (2004).
    He is versatile as he is able to play shortstop, third base and designated hitter.
    A year after suffering a concussion, he participated in his first All-Star Game after being selected in a fan vote (2009).
    He is the second player in the history of the Blue Jays to score a run after stealing home plate.
