Pitcher for the Seattle Mariners (1999, 2001-2005), Philadelphia Phillies (2006), Cincinnati Reds (2006) and the St. Louis Cardinals (2007-2011)

Why he might be annoying:

He was the AL leader for giving up pitches with his career high of 34 (2003).
His productivity as a starter went into decline in his last seasons in Seattle.
He had a ten game suspension for the use of steroids (August 2, 2005).
He joined the Cardinals after they just ended their 24 year World Series title drought.
He was one of the players who used steroids named in the Mitchell Report.
He missed out on a chance to pitch in the 2011 World Series for the Cardinals, as he was released from the team after a poor season as a closer.
