Why they might be annoying:

All 6 of the guys posed semi-nude for the back cover of their 'Shabooh Shoobah' album.
They once opened for the GoGo's.
After the tremendous success of the 6-times platinum album 'Kick,' the band's subsequent recordings flopped.
There's speculation that their dwindling success led to Michael Hutchence's suicide in 1997.
After Michael's death, Terence Trent D'arby, Jimmy Barnes, and Jon Stevens stepped in as temporary lead singers.
In 2004, the band announced they will use a reality show to search for a new lead vocalist.

Why they might not be annoying:

Although Michael Hutchence's sex appeal and charisma made him the center of attention, he often refused to pose for magazines without the other members.
The band's 1984 single 'Original Sin' tackled the subject of racism and their video for 1992's 'Beautiful Girl' explored societal pressure on women to seek perfection.
The clip for 'Need You Tonight/Mediate' swept the 1988 MTV Awards, winning 5 trophies, including 'Best Video.'
'Need You Tonight's' innovative use of animation, intercut with live performances, is still considered ground-breaking.
They collaborated with Ray Charles and Chrissie Hynde for the 'Full Moon, Dirty Hearts' album (1993).
Rolling Stone Magazine once proclaimed INXS 'the greatest live band on the planet.'
