Ironically, his name was Price.

Why he might not be annoying:

Back in the early 1950's, he envisioned Wholesale Warehouse Club, in which customers were given big discounts for purchasing in quantity.
He graduated SDSU (1934).
He earn his law degree at USC.
During a dinner with Sam Walton, he laid out the plans for warehouse wholesale clubs leading Sam Walton to open his first Sam's Club later that year (1983).
He founded and still supports Price Charities.
