Formerly of The Byrds, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Manassas and the Desert Rose Band

He frequently rotated between bands and musical acts.

Prior to forming the Desert Rose Band, he had minimal commercial success.
He was the least known of the Byrds.
Many casual music fans will remember him from his stints with the Byrds and the Desert Rose Band.
