Why they might be annoying:

They played for five different cities.
They were once called the Kansas City-Omaha Kings.
They changed their name from the Royals to the Kings so as not to be confused with baseball's Kansas City Royals.
They own the longest title drought in the NBA, haven't won since 1951.
Shaq once referred to them as the 'Sacramento Queens.'
They had four first-round picks in 1990, but none of them proved any good.
Despite the talent on their recent teams, they have yet to be involved in an NBA Finals since moving to Sacramento.

Why they might not be annoying:

They are among the oldest franchises in the NBA.
In an era of low scoring, they have consistently scored more than 100 points in a game.
The Maloof brothers, who own the Kings, are among the NBA's most accessible owners.
Their recent teams have had one of the deepest benches in the NBA.
Sacramento-based rock group Cake named one of their instrumental after the Kings' building, 'Arco Arena.'
