The Resume

    (April 8, 1946- )
    Born in Coronado, California
    Character actor
Appeared on the TV series ‘Quark,’ ‘The Associates,’ ‘Angie,’ ‘The Two of Us,’ and ‘Sirens’
Appeared in the films ‘Car Wash,’ ‘Take This Job and Shove It,’ ‘Iron Eagle,’ ‘Down and Out in Beverly Hills,’ ‘Air America,’ ‘Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas,’ and as Jack Deth in the ‘Trancers’ features (writer for ‘Trancers III’)
Voice of Leonard Beaver on ‘Angry Beavers’

Why he might be annoying:

At 5 ft 11 (or 1,8 m), he’s not particularly tall among actors of his build.
He claimed a Midnight Special appearance – seen by one Robert Altman – as his first role.
He did not appear in the sixth Trancers feature – which was instead about Deth’s own offspring – except for archival footage.
If he cared little about greying hair, he cared even less about his eyebrows.

Why he might not be annoying:

Coming off a stint in the National Guard, he relocated to San Diego — specifically, working props and sets at a theater specializing in Shakespearean works.
Starting his career in stand-up comedy, he would have a guest spot on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.
Though he was married three times, he has only one child, by his second wife.
He is an icon of the B-movie scene and does not care that he will never achieve mainstream success.
