    Reverend Eugene O’Hagan (Derry, tenor)
    Reverend Martin O’Hagan (Derry, tenor)

Why he might be annoying:

They rarely spend more than three days away from their parish.
The managing director of the Epic label (Sony BMG) thought their demo tape was of ‘The Three Tenors.’
They were unconcerned that secular fame would affect them as it did the Singing Nun.
The moniker was their managers’ idea (‘that speaks for itself,’ said Delargy).
The first piece they sang as a trio was from The Sound of Music.
Naturally (and also distressed by the scandal associated with their occupation), they want to spread The Word.

Why he might not be annoying:

They participated in the seminary choir at Queen’s College in Belfast.
Their demo tape was inspired by a message from Pope John Paul II (‘duc in altum,’ or ‘put out into the deep’).
They were allowed to do their recordings at the Vatican’s St. Peter’s Basilica.
They consider their duties to their parish more important than any marketing or performance.
Delargy interrupted one press junket to oversee a funeral.
