Basis of 'Amityville Horror'

Why he might be annoying:

He was a junkie.
He murdered his entire family.
He says it was wrong the children 'had to die,' but he killed them anyway.
He called the cops on himself, because he didn’t remember killing his family.
He claims that diabolic forces resided in his home in Amityville, and that a demon possessed him.
He heard voices that told him to kill people.
They made numerous movies out of this, including the 'Amityville Horror.'

Why he might not be annoying:

His father may have had mob connections.
While in prison, he bought someone a house, just to be nice to them; however, the home only cost $1.00.
He was against the remake of the 'Amityville Horror,' released in 2005.
In the new 'Amityville Horror' movie, his young sister, is depicted as the spirit that haunts the house, this however cannot be, because he killed his sister after he saw the spirit.
He is a painter, and he has painted some lovely pictures!
