Why she might be annoying:

She sustained a scar on her right eyebrow over, of all things, tripping on a Lego block at age 10.
Though she arrived in the States at age two, she did not become a citizen proper until age 18.
Despite her background in Spanish-language works and being born in South America, she did not do the Latin American Spanish dub in Encanto (though that became a matter of commitments).
She claimed to develop disordered eating (uneven eating patterns) in college.
She has astigmatism and a sensitivity to contacts.

Why she might not be annoying:

Growing up in Texas, she would also develop an appreciation of Mexican culture.
However, she admitted to recording ‘Waiting on a Miracle’ (for the Encanto soundtrack) in the early stages of labor.
At risk of missing some of her marks, she doesn’t wear glasses for too many of her roles.
Having claimed no such role models – and even personal backlash – in her formative years, she became a trailblazer for media depictions of bisexuals.
She credits her newborn daughter with overcoming her issues of body and eating.
