The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He was injury prone throughout the course of his career.
He never played a full season as a result.
He recorded 100+ penalty minutes every season.
He was often overshadowed by Doug Gilmour and Theoren Fleury in Calgary.
Despite being one of the Flames mainstays, the team let him walk away for nothing as a free agent.

Why he might not be annoying:

He made the Flames roster as an undrafted free agent.
He was considered one of the few players who was successful at being able to shut down Wayne Gretzky and Mark Messier, during the Oilers heyday.
He earned a Stanley Cup ring as a member of the Flames (1989).
He often played for the United States in international competition, most notably, as a member of the 1996 World Cup of Hockey championship team.
After his playing career ended, he returned back to Calgary, where he has been involved with the WHL's Calgary Hitmen.
