    He was passed over in the NFL Draft as a result of his small stature.
    To add further insult to injury, he wasn't invited to the NFL Scouting Combine in his senior year.
    His playing career was derailed due to injuries.
    He came out of retirement a year and a half after he initially announced it.
    He spent his final season on the Argonauts practice squad, not receiving any playing during the regular season.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He flourished playing at the University of New Hampshire under Chip Kelly.
    He left UNH among the top ten leaders in career rushing yards.
    He earned a tryout with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent, after he impressed scouts during a private workout.
    His solid play during his rookie season prompted the Argos to elevate him to the starter midway through the 2012 season.
    He earned Grey Cup MVP honors after he rushed for 133 yards and recorded 62 yards on eight pass receptions (2012).
    He spent his entire playing career with the Argonauts.
