Assistant coach for the Hartford Whalers/Carolina Hurricanes (1996-2004), Toronto Maple Leafs (2006-08) and the Montreal Canadiens (2011-12)
Head coach of the Oshawa Generals (2005-06).

Why he might be annoying:

He struggled to find his footing on poor Detroit teams.
Despite establishing himself as a mainstay on the Whalers blueline, he was often overshadowed by Ulf Samuelsson.
He recorded a plus/minus of -54 during his last full season in Detroit.
He was on Paul Maurice's coaching staff that was fired by the Hurricanes and the Maple Leafs.
He recorded a 18-45-5 record in his lone season as the head coach of the OHL's Oshawa Generals (2005-06).
