Why they might be annoying:

    They were originally known as the Dallas Texans but had to move to Kansas City because of poor fan support in Dallas (1963).
    They lost against the Green Bay Packers in the first Super Bowl ever.
    Their 1970 Super Bowl win is documented in commercials for Gatorade.
    After starting the 2003 season 9-0, they wound up finishing the season 4-3, including a loss at home to the Denver Broncos, in which they allowed Clinton Portis to score 5 touchdowns.
    Their first loss of that season came against the Cincinnati Bengals and wide receiver Chad Johnson, who predicted the Chiefs loss.
    Tight end Tony Gonzalez often dunked the football in between the uprights after scoring a touchdown.

Why they might not be annoying:

    They were the only AFL team to capture three AFL titles.
    They were one of the first teams to incorporate Gatorade onto their sidelines for their players.
    There's a group of hard-core Kansas City fans in Philadelphia who meet at a bar and watch Chiefs games every Sunday.
    Derrick Thomas set an NFL record by getting seven sacks in one game against the Seattle Seahawks (1990).
    They were able to lure away future-Hall of Famers Joe Montana from the San Francisco 49ers and Marcus Allen from the Oakland Raiders (1993).
    Pro Bowl linebacker Derrick Thomas, who spent his entire career with Chiefs, died after an automobile accident that left him paralyzed from the chest down (2000).
    The Chiefs would end up retiring his number #58.
    They've entered the millennium with one of the most potent offenses in the NFL.
    They have a great rivalry with the Oakland Raiders.
    They were the first wildcard team to win the Super Bowl.
    As a Chief, Priest Holmes broke records for single season touchdowns and single season rushing touchdowns with 27 (2003).
