Defenseman for the Washington Capitals (1994-2003), Toronto Maple Leafs (2003-06), New Jersey Devils (2006), Colorado Avalanche (2006-07), Atlanta Thrashers (2007-08), Anaheim Ducks (2008) and the Phoenix Coyotes (2008-09)

Why he might be annoying:

He was overshadowed by the likes of Sergei Gonchar, Calle Johansson and Mark Tinordi on the Capitals blueline.
He became a journeyman player after he left the Capitals in free agency.
He never played a full season during his career.
His tenure with the Ducks lasted only three games.
His effectiveness dropped off considerably enough that he went from being a top four defenseman to the bottom two pairings.

He was one of the first players in NHL history to be born in Indianapolis.
He was considered a solid shutdown defenseman by hockey pundits.
