Why he might be annoying:

He could not crack the Dolphins roster both times he signed with the team as a free agent.
He missed five field goals in the first two weeks of the season, which prompted the Falcons to release him.
He was arrested and charged with a DUI (August 2, 2011).
He was released by the Broncos after he received a four game suspension for violating the substance abuse policy (2014).
He was the third kicker the Lions signed during the 2014 season.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was considered one of the NFL’s greatest long range field goal kickers.
He proved to be a capable replacement for Jason Elam in Denver, after the latter signed with the Falcons.
He kicked a 64 yard field goal, which set an NFL record for the longest field goal recorded (December 8, 2013).
He was a member of the Broncos team that played in Super Bowl XLVIII (2013).
He holds the NFL record for most 50+ yard field goals in a career.
