Anarchist

The Resume

    (October 21, 1928-December 15, 1969)
    Born in Milan, Italy
    Railroad worker and anarchist
Headed several anarchist clubs in Milan
Secretary of the Italian branch of the Anarchist Black Cross
Detained for questioning concerning a bombing in the Piazza Fontana that killed 17 people and injured 88 (December 12, 1969)
Fell from a 4th floor window of the Milan police station

Why he might be annoying:

Although an anarchist, he worked for the state-owned railway.
One of the anarchist groups he headed, Gioventù Libertaria, masterminded the kidnapping of the Spanish vice-consul in Milan to press (successfully) for the commutation of the death sentence of a Spanish anarchist (1962).
Three years after his death, a left-wing group assassinated Luigi Calabresi, the officer in charge of Pinelli's interrogation, in retaliation (May 17, 1972).

Why he might not be annoying:

He was a courier for a partisan group during World War II.
Police initially claimed he committed suicide, then said his fall was an accident.
He inspired Dario Fo's play 'The Accidental Death of an Anarchist.' (1970)
Italian authorities eventually concluded that the Piazza Fontana bombing had been the work of neo-fascists, not anarchists.
