The Resume

    (July 24, 1978- )
    Born in Chicago, Illinois
Birth name is Jeffrey Michael Mauro
Host of '$24 in 24,' 'Sandwich King,' 'The Kitchen,' 'Kitchen Sink,' 'Worst Cooks in America (2022)' and Beat Bobby Flay on Food Network
Specializes in Roasted Pork-etta on Ciabatta with Gre-mayo-lata Aioli and Pequillo Peppers sandwich
Owner of Mauro Provisions butcher shop

Why he might be annoying:

    He is a pretty boy.
He claims to love eggs, as long as they're not hard-boiled. Scrambled, sunny-side-up or fried, he'll take them all. (Then he should be able to take deviled eggs too then, if he claims to love eggs?)
He has a frat boy type of look happening for himself, which explains why he was once a Sigma Chi.
He has one heck of an ego. As he thinks the food he cooks is better than most chefs.
But yet chef Anne Burrell and her team beat him and his team on 'Worst Cooks in America' (2022).
He's always making funny faces and sticking his tongue out on all of his social media accounts.
His restaurant Pork & Mindy's filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in early of 2019, but didn't want to disclose any information on it actually closing down permanently.
He used to be a very chubby kid growing up.
He's nicknamed the Sandwich King, but his favorite food is not exactly a sandwich? (It is surprisingly pizza that is his favorite food of all time. Then he should of been nicknamed the Pizza King instead).
He says if he wasn't a chef, he'd be on Saturday Night Live ,and has admitted that he has a lot of characters to portray for the show as well.
He's always packing his mouth with all different kinds of foods, which explains why he used to be a portly and large kid growing up.

Why he might not be annoying:

When he started out at Food Network, he went by the moniker and alias Sandwich King, which sandwiches remain one of his favorite foods to make and eat.
He has an aversion and a dislike towards deviled eggs.
He was a Sigma Chi in the early 2000s.
He graduated from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, in the year 2000, where he studied radio and also television.
Before joining Food Network, he used to be an entertainer and comedian in Los Angeles. But the switch in careers hasn't changed his personality one bit, which explains his witty personality on Food Network's 'The Kitchen.'
After a few years hustling in Hollywood, he upped the ante and enrolled in culinary school to refine his cooking skills. He also graduated Valedictorian, and returned to Chicago where he was a culinary instructor, a successful private corporate chef, and local comedic performer.
He weighed 190 pounds before he embarked on his journey of losing weight. Now after doing some work, he weighs 150 pounds. He lost over 50 pounds along the way. Which means he had to hit the gym and make some changes in his eating habits and diets on a regular.
No matter how much weight he loses, he will always still remain with that cutesy baby face.
His favorite movie of all time is 'Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit' (1993).
In 2017, he began appearing in ads for the Subway restaurants.
    He owns a terrier puppy.
