Why Yellowknife, Northwest Territories might be annoying:

    Access to the city can be tricky as you have to drive across the frozen Mackenzie River in the winter and cross a ferry in the spring.
    Shipments are sometimes hard to come by, depending on the condition of the rivers & lakes.
    It has extremely cold winters and incredibly short summers.
    It was voted capital in 1953 when Fort Smith proved to be extremely small as a capital city.

    It is a diverse city.
    It is home to many beautiful sunsets in the summer as the sun never goes down during the summer months.
    It is known for its tourism as many outdoorsmen come up to the city for hunting and fishing seasons.
    It is home to a diamond mine industry.
