Why he might be annoying:

    His team had the worst record in baseball in 2002.
    While Raymond was leading the children around the bases, a man ran onto the field and smack into Raymond, knocking him down. The man claimed he was running after his children and accidentally collided with Raymond (June 10, 2002).
    He is trying to set the Hotdog consumption per game record.
    Seven other mascots showed up at Raymond's birthday party. They had a wrestling battle royale and let Raymond win because it was his birthday.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He made over 340 visits to schools and organizations in 2001.
    He runs the Dream Team which preaches five abilities (drug-free, respect, education, attitude and motivation).
    He was adopted by the Devil Rays.
