He set off a minor controversy when he stated in an interview that he wanted to be 'big' like his father.
He was suspended by the WWE for steroid use.
He made a cameo appearance on 'Hogan Knows Best.'

Why he might not be annoying:

He is a third generation wrestler.
He chose the name 'DH Smith' to honor both his late father and maternal family.
When asked about his controversial statement, he admitted it was taken out of context.
As a child, he once watched his mother overdose on painkillers to show him and his father both the dangers of drug use.
