Murdered four RCMP officers on his farm near Mayerthorpe, Alberta, Canada
Died at 46 by a self inflicted gunshot wound

Why he might be annoying:

He was a recluse.
He hated authority figures.
He was described as a psychopath by family members.
He was arrested for drug possession on numerous occasions.
While RCMP officers were conducting a search on his property, he hid in the quonset hut and opened fire on the officers when they entered.
After his reputation spread around Mayerthorpe, he befriended younger residents in the neighboring towns to assist him with his crimes.

Why he might not be annoying:

His father has admitted he struggled with mental illness.
His family says that he fell through the cracks as a child.
Two years after the Mayerthorpe Massacre, his two accomplices Shawn Hennessey and Dennis Cheeseman were arrested on first degree murder charges (July 12, 2007).
