Why he might be annoying:

He built himself a 481 foot high, 5.9 million ton tomb.
He is probably better known by his Greek name ‘Cheops.'
Greek historian Herodotus claimed he was feared and loathed by his countrymen.
Legend has it he prostituted his daughter to raise funds for his pyramid.
The Great Pyramid may have been built by slaves.

Why he might not be annoying:

His reputation for cruelty may have been in part Greek propaganda.
Many modern scholars believe he used compensated laborers, not slaves.
He was a brilliant planner to pull off such a project in just twenty years.
The face of the Sphinx was possibly modeled on his features.
His funerary cult lived on until the Persian conquest nearly 2000 years later.
The Great Pyramid has awed onlookers for over 4000 years.
