Her first day on Mythbusters, a mold was made of her buttocks for a test of the 'vacuum plane toilet' urban legend, leading her to joke that she was hired for her butt.

She said of that first job, 'I guess I proved I have no shame, one of the qualifications for being a Mythbuster.'
She is also a successful sculptor and photographer.
She did a memorable photo shoot for FHM, wearing a red bra and white lab coat.
