Why Nestle might be annoying:

    In 2008, Hong Kong investigators found melamine in Chinese-made Nestle baby formula after six infants died and another 850 got ill from consuming the milk.
    The following year, 30,000 cases of its cookie dough were recalled in the wake of an e-coli outbreak stemming from one of its plants in Virginia.
    The company has been condemned for utilizing child labor for its chocolate production in Africa.
    Several states in the Western US have accused the conglomerate of siphoning fragile aquatic resources for its bottled water.
    They've also contributed to deforestation in its cocoa harvesting.
    A lot of their products are junk food high in sugar and calories.

Why Nestle might not be annoying:

    They are behind most of your favorite childhood brands.
    They are long time sponsors of the annual Tour De France.
    They also sponsor the Salzburg Music Festival.
    They have recently started initiatives to sustainably manufacture their food products.
    The Great Place to Work Institute of Canada named them on of the 50 Best Companies to For in 2012.
    Their 'Nestle makes the very best' is one of America's memorable advertising slogans.
