The Resume

    (1873-June 18, 1917)
    Born in Ciudad Ayala, Mexico
Birth name was Eufemio Zapata Salazar
    Brother of Emiliano Zapata
General of Ejercito Libertador del Sur (Liberation Army of the South)
Killed by Sidronio 'el Loco' Camacho
    Portrayed by Anthony Quinn

Why he might be annoying:

He was known for being a womanizer, a macho man, and a heavy drinker
There is not as much information available as to his actual relationship with his younger brother as one might expect.
His drinking habits got exceedingly worse after the Zapatismo movement went into decline.
He was killed by one of Zapata's commanders after he got drunk and - in that state - beat up and insulted the commander's father.

Why he might not be annoying:

Anthony Quinn won an Oscar portraying him in 'Viva Zapata! (1952)'.
the troops he commanded were among the first to occupy Mexico City and to be headquartered in the Palacio Nacional.
He was a key player involved in the famous first meeting between his brother and Pancho Villa.
Allegedly, when he realized the commander was going to kill him, he begged him to end his suffering and give him a quick death.
He is said to have replied: 'You have made many people suffer a great deal. Live a little longer, so that you also will learn what it is to suffer.'
He then shot Eufemio in the abdomen, took him on his horse, and threw him into an anthill face first to die (talk about disproportionate retribution!).
