Defenseman for the Quebec Nordiques/Colorado Avalanche (1988-96), Washington Capitals (November 2-9, 1996), Hartford Whalers/Carolina Hurricanes (1996-2000), Minnesota Wild (2000-01) and the Ottawa Senators (2001-04)
Broadcaster for the Altitude Sports Network (2005-07)

His surname is very hard to spell.
He became a journeyman after he was traded from the Avalanche.
His stint with the Capitals lasted one week.
He played on two franchises which relocated roughly two years apart (Quebec and Hartford).
He was injury prone throughout his career.

When he became a free agent, he returned to the Avalanche, and when a roster spot looked unlikely, he wisely elected to retire as a member of the team.
