    He originally started at the 2010 World Curling Championship, before backing out for undisclosed personal reasons days later.
    His team struggled in North American curling tournaments.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was considered one of the top curlers in his home country of Norway.
    He, along with his team won six World Curling Tour events.
    He holds the record for most wins recorded by a skip at the World Men's Curling Championship.
    He won various curling tournaments in Europe between 2007 and 2009, which paved the way for his berth at the Vancouver Olympics in 2010.
    He was forced to retire from curling, after he was diagnosed with cancer in 2020.
