    It has some amazing scenery, being located on the coast.
    It capitalized on the popularity of 'The Beachcombers' and restored several locations as tourist attractions.
    The building which was used as the front for Molly's Reach on the show was later converted to an actual restaurant.
    It is the first community in British Columbia that allowed styrofoam to be processed for recycling.
    It is a popular community for both retirees and people who are artistically inclined.
