David 'Son of Sam' Berkowitz wrote to her with his useless opinions on the Maryland sniper (October 2002).
She is a shill for the Republican party and right wing view point, yet she says with a serious face that Fox News is 'fair and balanced.'

She interviewed Slobodan Milosevic, Yasser Arafat and Ariel Sharon.
One of her interviews with Anne Marie Smith led to an investigation of Representative Gary Condit on witness tampering.
She won three local North Carolina Emmys for investigative reporting.
She graduated with a degree in journalism from the University of South Carolina.
