    Defenseman for the Montreal Canadiens (1983-1990), Chicago Blackhawks (1990-1999), Detroit Red Wings (1999-2009) and the Atlanta Thrashers (2009-2010)
    Part of Montreal's 1985-86, and Detroit's 2001-02 Stanley Cup Championship teams

Why he might be annoying:

    The Blackhawks traded him to Detroit, because they felt he was too old. He had immediate success after the trade.
    He was usually amongst the league-leaders in penalty minutes.
    He made indirect threats against NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman and his family while making comments on the impending NHL lockout. He later retracted his comments and apologized.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He appeared in 14 straight NHL All-Star games (1989-2002).
    He won the James Norris Trophy 3 times.
    He represented the United States in the Olympics.
    He is considered one of the best Americans to play in the NHL.
    He is beloved by the people of Chicago, and is a huge Cubs fan.
