She graduate State University of New York at Oswego (1981).
In high school, she play eight hockey games with the boy's team.
She married a guy who is not a sports fan.
After saying that there are a lot of good qualified women doing sports, she added: 'there are a lot of women who some how have sports jobs and they only got a sports job because the job they really wanted at the Weather Channel was not open.'
She modelled herself after local New York WNBC sports reported Len Berman, saying he tells you something, he doesn't scream at you and use crazy catch phrases.
