Why he might be annoying:

    He is a two hit wonder.
    He played in bands called Silk (1969) and The Ghost Poets (1993) that cut one album each and went nowhere.
    After a 1986-87 holiday season farewell tour, he called it quits, only to reemerge a decade later and perform with former band members and with a group called The Resonators.
    With two 'lower Top 40' songs under his belt he released a 'greatest hits' album titled 'Misery Loves Company: More of the Best 1975-83' an 1997.

Why he might not be annoying:

    When he attended Hiram College, he was elected to the Student Senate.
    Joe Walsh, Todd Rundgren, Dan Fogelberg and David Sanborn contributed to his first two albums.
    He was a perennial favorite in the Northern Ohio area and set an attendance record of 20,320 at the Coliseum at Richfield on July 20, 1979.
    'He Can't Love You' was the 45th video ever played on MTV.
    He appeared as himself in an episode of the TV series 'The Drew Carey Show.'
