    She has been accused of promoting false claims about the 2020 Presidential election results and of spreading Covid-19 misinformation.
    She went viral during a July 2022 Trump rally after repeatedly calling the former President Superman with the man himself beaming in the background.
    She has been accused of bandwagoning onto the MAGA-Republican red wave despite having been a Democrat for most of her life.
    She claimed to be a lifelong NRA member but refused to provide proof of her membership prior to announcing her candidacy.

    Despite her limited experience, she narrowly won the GOP primary a after a vote count that took several days (August 4, 2022).
